MEMBERS OF SOUTH TEXAS BEEFMASTER BREEDERS ASSOCIATION

Pursuant to the by-laws of STBBA, each of you is hereby notified of the annual General Membership Meeting of STBBA to commence at 8:30 a.m. Saturday October 14, 2006 at the Radisson Beach Hotel, 3200 Surfside Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas (361)883-9700. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.

The General Membership Meeting will be held in conjunction with the STBBA sponsored Buccaneer Classic Weekend. The events begin on Friday, October 13th. at 4:00 p.m., the judging of the Miss South Texas Heifer Pageant will be held. At 5:30 p.m. a cash bar and silent auction will be available in the foyer, and at 6:30 p.m. the banquet doors will open for the banquet and fun auction.

The Miss South Texas Heifer Pageant Sale and Buccaneer Classic Sale will begin at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. 

At this membership meeting, STBBA members must elect a President, Vice President and four Board members. The Nominating Committee has made nominations for the positions as indicated on the enclosed proxy. Nominations may also be submitted from the floor by any voting member of the STBBA during the General Meeting.

Each STBBA member has been mailed a proxy and return envelope. You are encouraged to vote by proxy. The proxy must be returned to me by Saturday October 7, 2006.
